IN MEMORIAM...
The picture next to my LOGO is me and my Dad.  And the picture above is of my husband Leo. Unfortunately both of these important men in my life have passed away. 
​I miss them more than I can put into words. 
From the day I was born my Dad always called me Mariola!  Actually I can't remember ever  hearing him say Marie. When I started this group I named it Mariola in memory of my Dad.  And my beloved Leo was my partner in the kitchen as well as in life. He loved Mariola's Kitchen and he loved to cook as much as I do. So his spirit too, lives on in the many dishes we feature here in Mariola's Kitchen.

Ciao e benvenuto alla mia cucina!  Hello and welcome to my kitchen!
Those that know me, know I love to cook with great passion!  Cooking to me is an ART!  So through my recipes, photos and videos, I hope to share my passion and art with you! On this site, you will find a wide variety of culinary specialties, from appetizers to desserts... including many of my favorite recipes from the Emilia Romanga region of Italy, my second home! Most of the recipes will be traditional, but there will be some that I offer a "heart-healthy" and/or "gluten-free" version. And be sure to watch my "Mariola's Italian Kitchen" videos, where I bring many recipes to life!  From start to finish, I will show you all the steps needed to create the perfect dish.
